About Our Business
Our venture into Miniature Herefords coincided with the importation of eight
live animals from Canada via the USA in 1997.
Our aim has always been to improve on the animals that were imported into
Australia, some years ago.
Our main strategy has been the selection of the very best bulls and matching
them with appropriate cows.
This has proved to be beneficial but has resulted in our running several bulls
at one time. Unfortunately for small breeders in remote situations, as many
are in Australia, they are constrained by not having a bull or continue to breed
from one bull, resulting in restricted choices in breeding.
We are fully accredited as a MN3 Johne's Disease free property.
We also farm biodynamically, contributing to a healthy environment.
